Scholarship
Master's Degree Scholarship for Hungarian Citizens in Pakistan
Active
Description
This scholarship offers Hungarian nationals the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies, specifically a Master's degree, at recognized universities in Pakistan. The program emphasizes academic alignment with previous studies and includes provisions for English language support if required.
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must solely hold Hungarian nationality, with no dual citizenship. Eligibility requires the completion of an undergraduate degree program equivalent to 16 years of education (e.g., a 4-year bachelor's degree from a state-recognized university following 12 years of schooling), meeting the equivalency standards set by HEC and IBCC. Prospective Master's students must apply for disciplines that directly relate to their prior undergraduate fields. As all programs are conducted in English, candidates may need to complete a preparatory 'zero semester' for English language proficiency at NUML, Islamabad, or their host university, unless they can provide proof of proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, or an institutional English Proficiency Test (EPT). The 'zero semester' must be successfully concluded before commencing the main degree program, typically in the fall (August-September) or spring (February) sessions.
