Prospective candidates for the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor PhD Scholarship Program must fulfill specific criteria, which vary depending on the global ranking of their chosen US institution: * **Core Eligibility:** * Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan. * A commitment to contributing to Pakistan's higher education system upon completion of studies is expected. * Successful admission to a doctoral program at an eligible US university is mandatory. * **For Universities Ranked in the Top 50 Globally (QS World Rankings):** * Proof of secured admission to a US university holding a position within the top 50 of the QS World University Rankings. * A valid GRE – General Test score with a minimum combined total of 300 (Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections) OR a minimum of 60% in the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT). * **For Universities Ranked 51-100 Globally (QS World Rankings):** * Proof of secured admission to a US university ranked between 51st and 100th in the QS World University Rankings. * A valid GRE – General Test score with a minimum combined total of 300 (Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning sections) OR a minimum of 60% in the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT). * *Additional Note: The program also highlights a "Talent Farming" component designed to prepare potential applicants for standardized tests like GRE and TOEFL/IELTS.*
