Class 2 (Cat C) Delivery Driver - Derby

GXO Logistics, a leader in cutting-edge supply chain solutions, is seeking a dedicated Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our Store to Home team in Derby. In partnership with B&Q, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering products directly to their premises. This full-time, permanent position offers a stable career with a rotating shift pattern (Week 1: Monday-Friday; Week 2: Sunday-Thursday), starting daily at 11 am for 40 hours per week. Your primary responsibilities will include executing multi-drop deliveries, typically managing 16-24 drops per day depending on the season. You will be responsible for meticulously maintaining driving and working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries, adhering strictly to WTD regulations. Operating company vehicles safely and efficiently is paramount, as is ensuring customers receive the correct products and documentation. Furthermore, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, keeping recipients informed of estimated delivery times and courteously resolving any issues that may arise.
