GreenTech Glass Works is seeking a dynamic Sales Accountant and Accounts Receivable Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for managing the entire sales invoicing and accounts receivable cycle, ensuring compliance, efficient collections, and accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include generating precise sales invoices and related documentation in strict adherence to the Pakistan Sales Tax Act 1990 and FBR regulations. The manager will meticulously maintain the Accounts Receivable (A/R) ledger, monitor customer credit limits, and prepare comprehensive aging reports. Proactive collection strategies, communication with customers, and coordination with sales teams are essential to achieve collection efficiency targets. The position also involves bad debt management, including identification, provisioning, and coordination for legal recoveries. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring complete sales tax compliance, including filing monthly Sales Tax Returns on the FBR IRIS system and managing related documentation for audits. Furthermore, the role contributes to financial reporting and analysis, system improvements, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to company policies and internal controls, while maintaining confidentiality of financial information.

Experience & Skills

A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience is required. Essential technical skills include a strong grasp of accounting principles and practices (IFRS, Pakistan GAAP), in-depth knowledge of the Pakistan Sales Tax Act 1990 and FBR regulations, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Candidates must have experience with various ERP and accounting software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Peachtree or similar), coupled with a solid understanding of accounts receivable, credit control processes, and financial documentation. Preferred skills include experience with the FBR IRIS portal for sales tax return filing, knowledge of income and withholding tax regulations (e.g., Section 236C, 236H), familiarity with Letters of Credit (LC) and export documentation, and experience with business intelligence tools. Software proficiency specifically requires advanced MS Excel, along with competence in MS Word and PowerPoint, and hands-on experience with enterprise-level ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or local accounting software, as well as the FBR IRIS Portal for online tax submissions. Prior experience with the sales module of any ERP system is also valued.
