Business Development Assistant - Upwork Bidding, LinkedIn & Email Outreach

Softenmedia, a dynamic video production agency, is actively seeking a results-oriented Business Development Assistant. This remote-first role is critical for driving new client acquisition through a multi-faceted approach, including consistent Upwork bidding, strategic LinkedIn engagement, and targeted email marketing campaigns. The primary goal is to secure new projects spanning video editing, video advertisements, animated explainers, and corporate video production. Key responsibilities include daily bidding on Upwork for diverse video projects, crafting personalized proposals, executing comprehensive LinkedIn outreach (lead research, connection requests, personalized messaging, and diligent follow-ups), and managing email marketing sequences (lead generation, targeted communications, reply management, and follow-up automation). The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining meticulous tracking sheets for all outreach activities and submitting daily task summaries. While initial training on our specific workflows, client profiles, and proposal styles will be provided, a demonstrable history of success in LinkedIn and email outreach is mandatory. This full-time position operates 8 hours daily, Monday to Saturday, offering a fixed monthly salary plus performance-based bonuses for converting leads into paying clients. Although primarily remote, willingness to relocate to our Lahore office with prior notice is expected.
