Deputy Manager, Product Development (Workwear & PPE)

Samad Apparel is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for Product Development to spearhead innovation in their Workwear and Technical PPE division. This role involves leading the entire product lifecycle, from concept to approval, for specialized garments including FR, welding, denim, hi-vis, industrial, and aluminized wear. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in advanced technical raw materials such as FR cotton, modacrylic blends, aramids, carbon/anti-static fibers, coated/laminated fabrics, leather, and hybrid constructions. Key responsibilities include managing technical specifications, bills of material (BOMs), sizing, and sample processes, alongside close collaboration with suppliers and testing labs. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring strict adherence to international PPE standards (e.g., EN ISO 11611/11612, EN 1149, EN ISO 20471, NFPA/ASTM). Additionally, the role supports cost optimization, material efficiency, performance enhancements, and professional handling of client technical inquiries and development feedback.
